Dartmouth Castle 8/9th August
Nr Dartmouth, Devon
English Heritage property, located at the mouth of the River Dart and defending the entrance to the port of Dartmouth an important port in the seventeenth century, held both the Royalists and Partliament.

Nr Exeter, Devon
National Trust property, the estate was owned by the Acland family, prominent Devon Royalists. Sir John Acland, Royalist Commissioner reads the Commissions of Array to raise forces for the Royalist cause in the West.

English Heritage property, owned by the staunchly Royalist Arundell family. Lady Blanche Arundell and her household defend the castle against besieging Parliamentary forces, but will she holdout or will the castle fall...
